Elizabeth BartonI am a former CHP road officer, third degree black belt, and served our country as a strategic intelligence analyst for the US Army for 11 years.   The Bay Area has been my home for over 30 years and I am deeply connected to this community and its well-being. Currently I am the Neighborhood Watch Captain for my block and an active Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) member.

How and why, may you ask,  did I go from such a martial background to one of Metaphysical healing?  Ironically, if you saw my Astrology chart it explains it all.  I am a Pisces with an Aries rising, a classic signature for a healer/warrior. 

The realm of the unknown, mysticism, spirits and healing have fascinated me all my life.   My Hungarian and Japanese family members were Metaphysical healers .....what are currently called Shamans.  My Shamanic training started at three years of age.

Reiki and Massage

I have been a Reiki Master since August 8, 2002 and a Certified Massage Therapist (CMT) since August 8, 1988. The massages I give range from Energy to Swedish. Over the years,  I have developed a clothes-on massage technique focused on maximum stress relief. Astrology

My first encounter with astrology occurred with my grandmother when I was a child.

Since 2002 I have been a Professional Astrologer and for the last eight years the Vice President of  the San Francisco Astrological Society.  My time with the SFAS has ended as the VP and now I get to enjoy the benefits of just being a member.

I am a member in good standing of the following professional associations for astrologers:

  • Association for Astrological Networking (AFAN)

  • International Society for Astrological Research (ISAR)

  • Ethics-Certified by ISAR

  • San Francisco Astrological Society (SFAS)
